Steve Jobs Is A Dumbass
Okay, I have a lot of respect for Steve Jobs. He is behind my favorite consumer products of all time, he turned around the mess that was Apple, he delivers the most entertaining keynote, etc., etc., etc.
But get this. He got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and waited nine months to have life-saving surgery. Jeebus.
Now during those nine months he tried a special diet and other holistic treatments. Now I respect that some of these treatments my help things like indigestion. But freakin' pancreatic cancer?
Fortune Magazine has the scoop.

For some, it's a fascinating case study from a legal perspective as well, especially as it pertains to disclosing the diagnosis and/or the surgery.
It's also somewhat of an indictment on his lack of philanthropic activities. I certainly don't condemn him for it, but it is a sharp contrast between him and his chief rival, who has done more than most; and to me, it just seems inconsistent with what Apple culture could/should be.
Always gotta bring law into it. What do you have, a law degree or something. Oh yeah, that's right. You do. Damn kids and their law degrees.
